A minute later, the astonished Vincent regained his composure. He smiled warmly like a person receiving a desired gift and praised, “Sakura, my lovely girl, you made me another perfect item.”

“Really?” Sakura blushed slightly. “But this isn’t the final product for the steel version. The one in your arm might need one more day of refinement...”

“It is fine enough, my dear Sakura. Please do not spend all your time on one thing.” Vincent interrupted. “I can see in the details section how the gauntlet is flawless enough to gain an additional bonus.”

“Details section?” Sakura curiously asked.

“Yes, details section. ” Vincent answered with a smile. “I can read how the gauntlet was made with care and with the intention to protect the user. Additionally, after you made this masterpiece, the material has become somewhat resistant to natural elements like fire.”

Vincent patted the wooden gauntlet and continued, “Now, the wood will take more time to burn.”

Sakura stared at the wooden gauntlet and blushed. She never thought her feelings would become embedded in the item she created.

Sakura moved her gaze and looked at the other gauntlets on the table.

‘Do all the gauntlets have my feeling embedded in them? I feel embarrassed knowing Vincent will always see how I felt for him.’ She embarrassingly thought.

[The perfectionist Sakura made us another item. On were we will feel guilty using and damaging.]

[I bet you will feel guilty damaging one of Sakura’s masterpieces. Hehe.]

-...-

Vincent didn’t know how to respond because Kazumi was right on the mark. He felt nervous about damaging the mask every time he used it.

One of the reasons why Vincent didn’t dislike purchasing second-hand items was because not only would the item be purchased at a discount, but if it breaks, he would not feel terrible as if it was his fault.

Later, Vincent and Sakura spent their time talking while doing the necessary modifications on each wooden gauntlet made in a different style.

Sakura explained how she took lessons from Maid Xu and added the fabric to hold the small individual pieces of the gauntlet together. This was the reason she didn’t have enough time to make the gauntlet more flawless than it was.

One of the wooden gauntlets had four small wooden spikes attached to the knuckles. This type of gauntlet caught Vincent’s interest. He tried it on, and it looked good on him when taking a combat stance.

‘I thought about defense and forgot about the offense. The next one will have both spiked knuckles and sharp pointy fingertips.’ Based on Vincent’s reactions, Sakura was already thinking about the next wooden gauntlet’s design.

Afterward, the two of them headed back to the mansion. On the way, Vincent asked if Sakura liked the name Beckly.

“It’s not bad, but it sounds like a one-in-the-world kind of name. Does the name has a reason attached to it?”

“Kazumi and I have thought for a while and decided to combine both of my parents’ names. My father’s name is Beck, and my mother’s name is Liana. The name Beckly sounded nice to my ears, and it sounds unchanged enough to remind me of my parents.”

Sakura stopped walking. “Am I the only one who knows your parents’ names?” She asked.

“Yes. I believe I haven’t talked much about my parents. You are the only one who knows about my parents’ names. When I later tell the others, you will the be the first to know.”

Sakura smiled and became happy as, apart from the all-knowing Kazumi, she was the only one who knew about Vincent’s parents’ names. “Let’s go, hehe.” She happily giggled.

“Sure...” Vincent accepted, yet he didn’t understand why Sakura suddenly became cheerful.

Vincent and the cheerful Sakura continued heading to the mansion.

When the door of the recently created Maid Xu’s fabric room was opened, Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith were helping Maid Xu put a robe made from luxurious fabric on a wooden mannequin, wearing an ordinary-looking t-shirt, long pants, and shoes with matching colors.

Not too far from them was Jun Ye Rim sitting on a chair with Plow on her lap. She gave the impression of being a guest who doesn’t try to integrate with the others.

Kazumi went to tease Jun Ye Rim while Vincent and Sakura approached the mannequin.

Vincent saw everyone looking at him as if they were waiting for praise. “The outfit looks nice.” He complimented.

Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith looked happy with the compliment. They smiled and looked at each other when their team effort was a hit.

Vincent touched the outfit and stored all the items on the mannequin. He left to the nearby room and wore the outfit.

‘I hope it looks good on Vincent.’ Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith thought.

The next time the door opened, a man with an intimidating demon mask, long hair let down and wearing a robed outfit appeared. The man in front of them felt mysterious and different from the man they knew and loved.

“You look great, Beckly. ” Sakura said while showing thumbs up.

“Beckly?” Everyone asked.

Sakura became cheerful. It felt good hearing how she knew something about Vincent before the others.

Vincent placed his arms behind his back and proudly said, “I am Beckly. A Heavenly God Mantis sect member and a student personally recruited by the patriarch Feng Mengli.”

Lupa pouted. She rushed over to Sakura and looked at Sakura as if she had just defeated her. “No fair! I wanted to know first!”

Sakura smiled and gave the wolf girl throwing a tantrum, a head pat. “Can’t best girl Lupa sometimes share first place with her sisters?” She slyly asked.

“... okay. I will forgive you because of the head pat.” Lupa grumpily said while her tail wagged happily for the head pat and being called best girl Lupa.

Vincent stored the mask and the robe. He tied his hair and asked, “Head Maid Xu, could you spend some time with our guest? I hope the two of you could at least have a small conversation. ”

“I was going for lunch now. I can spare some time with our guest in another room if she would like.”

“It’s not like I need to talk to you or anything. But I can follow you to another room because I feel a little hungry. Th-that’s all!”

“Don’t come with me if you do not...”

“N-no need to decline after insisting so much. I can come with you.” Jun Ye Rim interrupted while Maid Xu revealed how was fine with or without the tsundere elf’s company.

“...” Maid Xu looked at Vincent. She took his smile as ‘good luck.’

*Sigh* “Please follow me.” Maid Xu said and walked out the door.

“Wait for me.” Jun Ye Rim became flustered. She placed Plow on the chair and hurried after Maid Xu.

[I think we better leave too. The others have already surrounded Sakura to ask what happened. I bet they want to know the origin of Beckly.]

*Gulp* “See you later, girls.”

Vincent quickly left. He went to find Sofy and helped her prepare the carriage. Later, they left for the Graymoon Auction House.

*Graymoon Auction House*

Vincent jumped down from the carriage. He looked at Sofy and said, “I hope I will not take too long.”

“Don’t worry. I am used to being alone. ” Sofy responded.

“...” Vincent felt guilty. He summoned a set of clothes and gave them to Sofy. “Come with me dressed as my servant.”

Sofy perked up and revealed a beaming smile. She took the clothes and went to change inside the carriage.

An attendant approached Vincent. “Are you Lord Vincent Lionheart?” She asked.

“Yes. I am Vincent Lionheart.”

“Someone will take care of the horses and the carriage for your esteemed self. Please head to the Orcs guarding the VIP door. They will let you in and call for a guide.”

“Thanks.”

The attendant became astonished when a noble thanked her. Usually, she would get threatened so that the attendants would do their best to protect the carriage and take care of the horses.

Sofy exited the carriage wearing ordinary clothes. However, she tugged her shirt as it was a little tight in her chest area.

“I didn’t think my master wanted to see my chest squeezed and my cleavage showing.” Sofy teased with a seductive smile.

[I like Sofy the more times I see her, hehe.]

*Cough* Vincent noticed the attendant looking at him as if he was a pervert. “Let’s go.” He said in a hurry while turning around.

“Wait for me, master. The shirt might rip if I run too much.” Sofy teased with a smile on her face. She was having fun.

Vincent and Sofy soon arrived in front of the two Orcs. After showing his identity, the two orcs opened the door and called out for an attendant to guide the guests.

A male elf slave attendant quickly approached. “Please follow me, esteemed guests. My masters were awaiting your arrival.” He said with respect.

Vincent and Sofy followed the attendant until arriving in front of an eye-catching door. Both the door and the door’s frame were elegantly carved and on it was a small board. On it was written VIP.

.....

The attendant opened the door. He announced Vincent’s arrival to the person inside and politely requested to enter inside.
