Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 332

[Vincent, how about checking Lupa’s age stat every day. You can do the same thing to Iris, Olive, and Lian. They transformed from a different aging cycle to one similar to ours after all.] Kazumi suggested.

-Great idea.-

“Lupa, you can leave the job of knowing when your birthday is to me. ” Vincent said. “So, how do you feel living here?”

[I miss not seeing my mate all the time, but I know how important my mate is to everyone. Best girl Lupa is very~, patient.]

Lupa expressed how the sudden change didn’t bother her. However, she tried to hide how restless she became every evening while waiting for Vincent and his date to return.

“Oh, yeah, sure~, sure~, haha.” Vincent laughed.

[Humph.] Lupa pouted.

Sakura visited hours later. She saw Vincent sleeping on the grass and Lupa sleeping on Vincent. Lupa looked like she was in heaven.

.....

“Sakura Sakura. Plow wants to help wake bad wolf...” *Pho!* Plow flustered at the blunder and corrected, “Plow helps wake Vincent up. Plow is a good girl.” *~Pho~*

Plow acted cutely to cover her intentions slyly. Plow knew Lupa was going to spend a day with Vincent, but watching the happy Lupa resting on Vincent terrified the little blue fox.

‘Plow doesn’t want to lose bed. Sakura Sakura can help me, hehe.’ Plow depended on Sakura as the next means to separate Lupa from Vincent and keep her favorite bed location only to herself.

Vincent opened his eyes. He saw Sakura with a hint of redness on her lavender-colored cheeks. “Looks like we took a nap, hehe.” He joked as he nudged Lupa to wake up.

Lupa slightly opened her eyes to see who the two nearby presences were. She was sleeping so peacefully that her heart skipped a beat the moment her eyes landed on Plow staring at her.

‘Plow is unhappy, hehe. I win again, hehe.’ Lupa thought with a slight smirk on her mouth.

“The workshop is finished. Thank you. It is all because of you.” Sakura raised a pleasant smile and thanked Vincent.

“Not only was it constructed as I wanted, but they also brought me tools and even a large anvil.” She looked delighted.

“Could you hold Lupa for me?” Vincent asked. “I don’t want to wake her up.”

Sakura noticed Lupa close her eyes again and fake being asleep. She smiled and lifted Lupa as if she was lifting a large weightless soft toy.

Sakura lowered her head and whispered in Lupa’s ear, “I know that my sister is awake, but I will not mention it. ”

Sakura felt Lupa slightly move after being discovered. She smirked and led Vincent to the newly constructed workshop.

Plow happily wagging her tails for not losing her bed, and Vincent followed Sakura.

“I am glad to see you happy, Sakura. ” Vincent said.

“I received clothes from a man I love and was complemented after wearing them. The man I love also gave me a workshop with a little of everything as I wished.” Sakura blushed and stroked Lupa’s fur to calm herself.

The innocent Sakura’s heart fluttered as the day passed and slowly reached its end. Today was the day of being alone with Vincent in a bedroom. Her first kiss felt magical. Her first night might be more, she believed.

“I-I never thought a man would do so much for me.” Sakura nervously stuttered a little. Unlike her usual rough mannerism, the tall woman was unknowingly acting weak.

“But I feel bad to be only one on the receiving end. I was given another chance, kind best friends I can call sisters, clothes, and a workshop... all I gave you is pain in your back...” Sakura expressed how she felt. Sakura was grateful, yet she wanted to offer Vincent at least something and see him smile.

[Sakura is a cool beauty. Watching her act like this once in a while makes her more attractive, in my opinion.]

-Yeah.-

Vincent chuckled and reassuringly patted her back.

“Think of it as an investment, my dear Sakura. The clothes make you look attractive, which in turn makes people envious of my alluring lavender Oni. As for the workshop, your expertise might allow you to replicate objects from my world, for example, a wheelchair.” Vincent mentioned the wheelchair after remembering the manipulated Wind Wall spell allowing Lilith’s mother to float in the air.

Sakura nodded and thought with determination, ‘I will make the best wheelchair thing and surprise Vincent. Just you wait!’

Sakura decided to do a masterpiece, yet she thought a wheelchair was a small cart with a chair. Sakura believed it was similar to the cart Vincent pulled Lilith for about half a day.

The workshop appeared a few minutes later. Maid Xu talked with the architect while Yula, Tula, the five kids, and Sofy offered refreshments. Around twenty men were drinking a glass of water and eating a sandwich.

Vincent saw Ester, Iris, and Lilith arrive almost at the same time as him. Ester walked first while Iris and Lilith nervously walked behind her.

“Lord Vincent is here!” One of the builders said.

Everyone turned their gaze at Vincent. They raised the glass of water and shouted, “Cheers for the future of the new Lionheart family generation! Cheers for the prosperity of the Lionheart family!”

Vincent noticed Lilith trying to hide her large build behind the thin Ester. Lilith was already at her limit, it seemed.

Vincent rubbed the back of his head, and his cheeks lightly blushed while saying for Lilith and himself, “These praises are a little overboard... I am feeling embarrassed now, hehe.”

“Hahaha.” The builders laughed loudly.

“Do not mind these rowdy bunch, my lord and lady. They are happy to see the Lionheart family have a talented d...” *cough* “sorry. A talented person working in the smithy.” The architect explained. He hoped his men didn’t upset Vincent or Lilith with their loud personalities.

Vincent looked at the men celebrating as if they had constructed a castle fit for a king. ‘I should make it clear about Sakura thought.’ He thought.

“I hope the secret that my demon is living here is kept a secret. Some people think that every dog will bite or every cat will scratch. What I want to say is, I want my kind-hearted woman to live here peacefully.” Vincent said. He wanted to know the builders’ thoughts about a demon who isn’t a slave living in a human city.

“Pff... we won’t snitch on the treasure of the Lionheart family.”

“Demons are intimidating, but my eyes only see a legendary blacksmith.”

“Blacksmith? Do you want special nails or something?”

“Runes, you numbskull! The Lionheart family can one day create top-tier weapons.”

“Yeah! Haha! Her hands can create treasure as the dwarves can.”

“Even though she is a demon. Even though she is a woman. Her class will fix all her defects...” *Slap*

“I know you like men, but don’t treat women like they are nothing.” An old man slapped a younger man at the back of his head.

The younger man looked at Sakura and apologized, “I am sorry, mistress of Lord Vincent. I was excited because a Synergist would use my work. My tongue slipped from excitement.”

“I beg for mercy, Lord Vincent. My men are good people, and they mean well as they are a part of the Sunrise company. Furthermore, they signed a contract of secrecy. Mistress Sakura can feel safe, and we harbor no ill intent against demons. We have never suffered from the demon race, so we only had a...” The architect was saying before he abruptly stopped. He remembered how he fainted multiple times when meeting Sakura.

“A-a slight scare. That was all, hahaha.” The architect laughed to hide his embarrassment.

“Cheers to the first Synergist in Lusterfall City!”

“Cheers!”

The builders loudly cheered again.

“...” Sakura couldn’t utter a single word. She held Lupa and nervously nodded at the humans celebrating.

Sakura didn’t know how to respond because it was her second time hearing a man or now a group of men she didn’t know compliment and look at her without disgust. The first was Vincent.

Lupa peeked at the humans, making a lot of noise. Acting asleep for Vincent to hold later her was becoming problematic.

Lupa wanted to threaten the men with a loud growl, but then again, her sleeping act would be compromised. However, even if Lupa growled at the rumbustious men, they wouldn’t feel intimidated.

Lupa looked like a regular-sized dog in the arms of the tall Sakura. Being held like a puppy on her back and her legs facing the sky didn’t help either.

[I bet Sakura is nervous because she might speak roughly and intimidate the men, hehe.]

Vincent gently caressed Sakura back to let her know he was beside her. “Thank you for the great work. Furthermore, the Oni beside me isn’t my mistress. I will marry her in a polygamy marriage.”

“~Damn~ The new Lionheart is a lion!” A hyped builder mistakenly blurted out after hearing the surprising statement. The man prostrated immediately and begged for forgiveness in the blink of an eye.

Human nobles couldn’t marry someone of the demon race, or their reputation would crumble. This is one of the reasons human nobles hate demons the most. A fake scandal with a demon would ruin the reputation of their family.

Thus, without any reasonable cause, they would hurt and torment illegal demon salves that aren’t a lustful succubus for fun, similar to what happened to Sakura.
