Let's Divorce As Agreed

Gu Huanhuan felt much more at ease when she returned to her own home.

Home was still best. Thinking about her appearance in front of the reporters after being away from the cameras for so long, she couldn’t help but feel a little nervous.

However, she didn’t feel that it was a pity because there were roles she wanted to play and things she wanted to do at different life stages. The role she wanted to play now was that of a wife and a mother.

She looked at her baby who was sleeping in the confinement nanny’s arms.

Wen Chi leaned over and said, “The baby is so sound asleep. There were so many reporters just now and they didn’t even wake her up.”

“Yeah, I really envy kids. They’re so carefree.” Gu Huanhuan’s gaze was fixed on the little darling’s face as she said in a gentle and loving voice that she had never used before.

“You can be carefree too. Just tell me any worries that you have.” Wen Chi said with a smile. He felt that her words were a little childish.

Gu Huanhuan tilted her head and thought hard. “I don’t think I have any worries.”

“Have a good rest during your confinement period. We’ll worry about the other things when you are out of confinement. I’ll support your decisions whatever they may be.” Wen Chi said dotingly.

Shu Pan wandered around town for a while after she visited Huanhuan in the hospital.

When she got home, she was surprised to find Gu Shaoting at home already. It was a miracle.

Now that the company was expanding, he was getting increasingly busier. He could always squeeze out some time in the past to spend with them. Even when he was really busy. But he hadn’t been around much lately that Shu Pan thought that he no longer cared about his family.

“You’re home.” Gu Shaoting greeted her first. He knew that Shu Pan had been feeling down recently. He had come home earlier today to take her out for dinner, but she wasn’t home when he got back. But it was still early enough to go out now.

“Hi.” Shu Pan replied indifferently.

“You went to see Huanhuan? I can’t believe that she’s a mom.” Gu Shaoting commented.

“Yes, Huanhuan’s daughter is so cute.” Shu Pan’s heart melted again when she mentioned the little princess.

“Well, if you like it, why don’t we have another baby?” Gu Shaoting said jokingly.

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Shu Pan said unhappily, glaring at him. This guy was speaking more and more inappropriately.

Gu Shaoting walked up to her and said, “Okay, okay. I won’t tease you anymore. Clean yourself up so we can go out?”

Shu Pan replied mockingly, “What a miracle… Since when did our CEO Gu have time to go out?”

Gu Shaoting knew that Shu Pan was unhappy when he heard that. He had indeed gone overboard with his after-work social engagements recently.

“I’ll make time in the future. I want to spend time with you guys.” Gu Shaoting said innocently.

“I wouldn’t dare to demand that.” Shu Pan was still angry. They had been married for so long, and they would occasionally give each other the silent treatment.

She wasn’t angry because he didn’t spend time with them, but because he drank too much during those after-work social engagements. His stomach problems would probably recur.

He never treasured his health.

Gu Shaoting didn’t get upset and was all smiles instead.

He pulled Shu Pan into his arms as she walked past him.

“Are you crazy?” Shu Pan looked around nervously. They were in the living room. Has this person gone mad?

“It’s fine. Everyone in this household is very understanding. Do you want me to carry you out?” Gu Shaoting said softly.

“I’ll walk by myself.” They had been married for so long; she couldn’t afford the embarrassment.

“Then let’s go.” Gu Shaoting smiled. He always had a way to make her compromise.

Shu Pan changed into a dress and Gu Shaoting led her out by the hand.
