Chapter 530: Demon Rulers Tomb!

Chapter 530: Demon Ruler\'s Tomb!

At the gate of this imposing white-bone city, a patrol of leopard-headed guards was present. These were the imperial guards of Heavenly Demon City.

The size of this city was almost on par with the imperial capital of the Tianbai Empire. In fact, it was a gathering place for hundreds of different demon races and served as the royal city for all demonic beast kingdoms in Nanjiang.

At the city gates, the flow of people and demons was constant. Some rode in dragon carriages pulled by earth dragons, while others, like Ling Feng and his group, rode on regular demonic beasts.

Hai Lingxiang\'s stunning face was calm as she led Ling Feng into the city on her Gale-Wind Demon Wolves.

The Lin Demon Clan held a significant status, and the Gale-Wind Demon Wolves they rode further established their identity. Therefore, the leopard-headed guards did not inspect them and allowed them to pass without question.

As the Lin Demon Clan members entered, the lesser demonic beasts, whose bloodlines were inferior and who were not even part of the demon race, quickly prostrated themselves on the ground. They only dared to lift their heads after Hai Lingxiang and her group had passed.

In the demon race, bloodline determined everything.

This was different from humans. A demon with a noble bloodline would see their strength grow over time, even without cultivation.

Demons had a much longer lifespan than human martial artists, but their cultivation speed was significantly slower.

As they proceeded, no one suspected Ling Feng\'s identity and treated him as a high-ranking demon. This made Ling Feng quite pleased, as it seemed his plan was going smoothly.

However, he still needed to figure out where the sacred land of Heavenly Demon City was and how to infiltrate it.

Hmm?

At that moment, Ling Feng noticed a dense demonic fog rising in a part of Heavenly Demon City, almost condensing into a solid form. The thick demonic qi blotted out the sky, and all the demons who saw it closed their eyes in fear as if they were praying.

"Hai Lingxiang, what is that place?" Ling Feng asked, puzzled.

Hai Lingxiang hesitated for a moment before softly saying, "Lord Long Fei, that place is not a secret in Heavenly Demon City."

She paused, then continued with, "That is the tomb of the demon rulers from past generations. It’s our sacred land, where the bodies of the past demon rulers are buried. Even those with royal bloodlines cannot step inside."

"The demon rulers’ tomb? Heavenly Demon City\'s sacred land?"

Ling Feng\'s heart skipped a beat, and a glint flashed in his eyes. He had not expected to learn the location of Heavenly Demon City\'s sacred land on his first day here.

However, since it was the tomb of the past demon rulers, it would undoubtedly be heavily guarded, far beyond his imagination, with likely even demon king-level experts overseeing everything.

How to enter remained a mystery to Ling Feng.

"Lord Long Fei, after such a long and tiring journey, let me take you back to the Lin Demon Clan\'s territory to rest," Hai Lingxiang said gently.

"Hmm, thank you for your efforts," Ling Feng nodded slightly.

The matter of infiltrating the Demon Ruler\'s Tomb could not be rushed. For now, staying with the Lin Demon Clan was a good idea.

As Ling Feng was pondering how to sneak into the Demon Ruler\'s Tomb, a sudden shout came from the front.

"Stop!"

The voice was powerful and authoritative, causing the surrounding low-level demonic beasts to immediately kneel down. They could feel the presence of a superior demon bloodline.

Even the Gale-Wind Demon Wolf that Ling Feng was riding on seemed frightened, crouching down and trembling. These were just ordinary third-tier demonic beasts and naturally couldn\'t withstand the pressure of such a powerful bloodline.

Hai Lingxiang\'s eyes flashed coldly, and she said in a frosty tone, "Kuang Niu, what\'s the meaning of this?"

Ling Feng looked up and saw a squad of heavily armored patrol guards approaching. Each of them was over two meters tall, with muscular bodies resembling mountains. They were minotaurs with bull heads and human bodies.

These minotaurs had bulging muscles, as if every inch of their flesh was packed with explosive power and ready to destroy everything.

The leading minotaur held a heavy shield and sword, stamping them on the ground forcefully. He stood arrogantly in front of Hai Lingxiang, his eyes gleaming with a possessive desire as he licked his lips, saying, "Princess Lingxiang, I\'ve been waiting for you!"

"Commander Kuang Niu, please do not block my way," Hai Lingxiang said angrily, clearly displeased with the minotaur\'s sudden obstruction.

The one addressed as Kuang Niu\' didn\'t seem to care about Hai Lingxiang\'s words. His eyes swept over the group and landed on Ling Feng, who was among the Gale-Wind Demon Wolves. An angry look flashed in his eyes as he asked, "Who is that guy?"

"It\'s none of your business!" Hai Lingxiang\'s expression turned icy. "Move aside. Do you think becoming the commander of the guards allows you to do as you please?"

"I\'m suspecting that guy is a human who sneaked into Heavenly Demon City! Look at him, he doesn\'t have any demon features at all!" Kuang Niu shouted, waving his hand. "Men, seize him!"

"Who dares?" Hai Lingxiang stood up abruptly, her gaze sweeping coldly over the minotaurs. "Does the Minotaur Clan want to start a war with the Lin Demon Clan?"

Her words made the minotaurs hesitate and stop their actions. The Lin Demon Clan might not be strong in combat, but they had the most complex network of relationships in Heavenly Demon City. Many high-ranking demons with royal bloodlines were close to the beauties of the Lin Demon Clan.

Even in the demon race\'s kingdom, beauty was a powerful weapon.

"Hehe!" Kuang Niu\'s eyes bulged with anger as he looked at Ling Feng. "Kid, are you just going to hide behind a woman\'s skirt? Coward!"

In truth, Kuang Niu was one of Hai Lingxiang\'s suitors. Seeing a male demon so close to the woman he desired naturally made him jealous and eager to cause trouble for Ling Feng.

"Hai Lingxiang, come back," Ling Feng said as he slowly dismounted from the Gale-Wind Demon Wolves. He looked arrogantly at Kuang Niu and said calmly, "A lowly minotaur like you dares to speak rudely to me? Do you understand your sin?"

Kuang Niu\'s pupils contracted as he stared angrily at Ling Feng. "What did you say?"

Ling Feng took three steps forward, standing shoulder to shoulder with Hai Lingxiang. He looked challengingly at Kuang Niu and said, "You lowly minotaur, kneel when you see me!"

According to Hai Lingxiang, the bloodline of the Three-Headed Demonic Jiao was extremely noble. Ling Feng, now posing as a noble among demons, naturally had to maintain a dignified demeanor.

Hmm?

Kuang Niu hesitated, seeing Ling Feng\'s arrogant attitude. Could this guy possibly possess the noble bloodline?

The tall minotaur warrior stared at Ling Feng, unsure of what to make of him.

Ling Feng\'s demonic qi was very pure, but because of that untainted purity, Kuang Niu couldn\'t determine Ling Feng\'s race.
