Chaplain!

Chapter 1214: 1211

Jin Lishi sighed with relief, at least she still held value for her superiors alive, otherwise, she would have been done for!

After the video call ended, she immediately took out her makeup kit and began her disguise.

In just over ten minutes, the golden-haired, blue-eyed Jin Lishi was nowhere to be found in the room.

There was only an ordinary-looking person with Eastern features, the kind that wouldn’t stand out in a crowd, utterly unremarkable.

She didn’t dare stay for long.

Because she knew that, as per their usual practice, their military would soon make a big move.

Sure enough, as soon as she left, she found the streets teeming with soldiers armed to the teeth.

These soldiers, of course, were beneath her notice!

But should a conflict arise with them, it would quickly bring a large contingent of the military, and even American ancient martial arts masters!

That was a consequence she dared not contemplate!

Her only way out now was to get in touch immediately with the Federal Bureau of Investigation agents in Eastern Ocean City, so they could help her escape.

Head to the airport?

That was simply not realistic!

Even if she managed to sneak onto a plane, it would just be ordered to return as soon as the commands came through.

At that point, she would still face certain death!

As for whether Oliver Walker or Andy Carter would win or lose, she had already lost interest!

Escape was the only truth!

Thomas Corporation’s villa!

At this moment, the massive living room had been transformed into a Command Room.

The large screen on the wall was particularly conspicuous.

“According to our information, Vivian Li has boarded a private jet and is about to leave Eastern Ocean City!” Zooey said crisply, holding a pointer and presenting the current situation, “As for Ellie Will’s hideout, we are still in search of it.”

There were officers from the Ocean City Battalion present in the room.

Senior commanders from the land, sea, and air forces were all gathered.

They looked serious, for this was a war of vengeance.

The devastating losses to the Imperial Guards could not be left unavenged.

After Zooey finished speaking…

“Bang!”

Oliver Walker slammed his fist on the table and said coldly, “Deploy our air forces immediately, capture Vivian Li and bring her to justice!”

“And Ellie Will, she must not be allowed to leave their territory!”

“Additionally, send someone to contact Pinn of the Joint Defense Investigation Bureau, if they do not wish to start a war, then they’d better make the wise decision!”

How long had they been holding this breath?

Since the outbreak of hostilities in Indiana eight years ago, everyone understood one thing: without the backing of the Eastern Alliance, the Divine Ox Kingdom would never have the courage to confront them on equal terms.

But did the Eastern Alliance lie low after the victory in Indiana?

No!

They had been making trouble behind the scenes all this time!

This had caused serious discontent within their military.

Were it not for the disparity issue, they would not have endured this!

Now, with their successful creation of the Photolithography Machine, although it wasn’t the best time to go to war, the overreach of the Eastern Alliance was too much. If they didn’t issue a stern warning, similar incidents would keep happening again and again!

A senior air force officer immediately stood up and began giving orders to his subordinates.

They were clear that with Oliver Walker’s persona, he never waged a battle without certainty.

Since he had decided to fight, it meant either he was fully confident or the situation was dire.

This confrontation would be their nation’s founding battle!

Their national pride was inviolable!

This was the bottom line for all military personnel in uniform.

Oliver Walker spoke coldly, “Eastern Ocean City is to enter a state of level-one combat readiness!”

“In addition to the military taking over the city, effective immediately, all flight routes and ports are to be ceased – we must trap the cunning Ellie Will inside a cage and annihilate her in one fell swoop!”

He was angry!

Truly angry!

His eyes were blazing red!

The casualties and losses of the Imperial Guards had been too great!

However, the saving grace was that Linus White and others were safe and sound, and the base’s equipment had suffered no harm whatsoever.

Following the defense order, two more senior officers left the meeting room one after another!
