Flashy Adventurer System : Show Off to Get Stronger!

Chapter 83: Farewell, Seniors

Meanwhile, Shye and the other representative students had just recovered from their injuries.

Fortunately, not all of them were injured, however, all of them were dejected.

Although they achieved the same things as the old golden generation, they were unhappy since most of them were humiliated during their final match, especially Allyson who suffered the most humiliation out of all of them.

Sadly, there wasn\'t anything they could do. Reality slapped them hard by teaching them that they were only mediocre compared to the top-tier academies.

Fortunately, Dean Snowcrest and the instructors were very supportive and kept on cheering the representatives up by repeatedly telling them to focus on what they achieved instead of focusing on their defeat.

Due to this, the mood slightly lightened up when it was time for them to leave Valenzia City and return to the academy.

Shye looked back at Valenzia City with a resolute look on his face as he vowed to return here in the future to avenge his beloved seniors.

Not only that, he made it his goal to settle down in Valenzia City in the future. With his system, he was confident that he could do it.

On the way, Shye tried his best to cheer his seniors up and after a month and a half of traveling, they finally arrived at Colzen Academy with slight smiles on their faces.

The depressed representatives thought about their defeat multiple times while traveling and they finally realized that this was just a small chapter of their adventurer life and very insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Due to this, although there were still some regrets inside their hearts, they raised their heads high as they proudly walked inside Colzen Academy after a top 64 finish.

Of course, the students of Colzen Academy gathered at the gates in an orderly manner and warmly welcomed the representatives as they walked towards the faculty room for a final meeting after the conclusion of this year\'s Adventurer Academy competition.

After a month and a half, the students already forgot about the defeat of their representatives at the hands of Aslan Academy and what remained in their minds was the glorious victory against Shadowglade Academy.

After all, it was expected that they would lose against Aslan Academy so the other students of Colzen Academy didn\'t take their representatives\' defeat to heart.

Of course, the representatives were overwhelmed after feeling the love and support of their fellow students.

In their hearts, after the disastrous defeat, they thought that they disappointed their fellow students which was clearly not the case because the students wouldn\'t welcome them like this if they were disappointed at their performance.

Due to this, the last vestiges of regret and sadness completely left their hearts and all that remained inside was their glorious victory against Shadowglade Academy.

Indeed, they\'ve achieved something in the Valenzia Region\'s Adventurer Academy Competition so why would they be ashamed of losing to an Adventurer Academy in the top three?

After a few minutes of walking, they finally arrived in the faculty room where the four deans spoke words of gratitude to them and also, some words of apology.

They were apologizing because they believed that they couldn\'t bring out the true potential of these representatives.

However, the representatives firmly rejected their apology and instead, thanked the deans and instructors for guiding them throughout their four years in the academy and for doing all they could to prepare them for the harsh world of professional adventurers.

Finally, after giving the representatives some rewards, the deans allowed them to leave the office and rest in their dormitories.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Oh?"

Maia heard some knocking sounds and upon realizing that it might be her big brother, she excitedly ran towards the door.

*CLACK*

"Maia, I\'m home"

Shye said to his little sister as he gave her a warm smile.

After months of not seeing each other, Shye truly missed this cute little sister of his.

On the other hand, Maia jumped towards Shye and hugged him while crying tears of joy.

"Uaaah! Big brother! I missed you! Did you know how boring it was to be left alone here?! All I\'m allowed to do every day is eat, train, and watch matches on the holographic television!"

"Well, It was kind of exciting when it was your turn to fight though! Especially your three-on-three match! You were so cool!"

*CHATTER* *CHATTER*

Maia kept on blabbering but Shye wasn\'t annoyed. In fact, he was filled with enthusiasm while chatting with his little sister who he didn\'t see for around three months.

The siblings continued chatting the whole night until it was finally time to sleep.

Two regular days passed and it was finally time for the graduation ceremony of the fourth-year students.

Of course, Shye would attend this graduation ceremony because he wanted to send his beloved seniors off and wish them luck.

After the graduation ceremony, they would be given the Colzen alumni badge and leave the academy to become professional adventurers.

Shye watched the entire ceremony while waiting for it to end so that he could walk toward his seniors and talk to them one last time before they left the academy.

Finally, after a few more minutes, the graduation ceremony ended.

The fourth-year students who were chosen as Colzen representatives gathered together and upon seeing Shye approaching them, they smiled warmly towards him.

"Crowley, It\'s up to you to bring glory to the academy, we fell a little short but I know you can do it. Teach those bastards from the Aslan Academy a lesson for us!"

Shin Fernandez said as he tapped Shye\'s right shoulder.

Of course, the other seniors also said words of encouragement to him and they chatted for a few minutes before it was time for the seniors to leave the academy.

"Crowley, Let\'s meet again as professional adventurers. We\'ll be waiting for the day Colzen Academy becomes the number one academy in Valenzia Region."

"Well then, farewell for now, I wish you luck."

Ren Beckmann said as he smiled towards Shye before turning around to leave with the other fourth-year students.

Seeing his beloved and respectable seniors leaving the academy to face the harsh realities of life, tears welled in the corner of Shye\'s eyes.

He then deeply bowed towards them, although he wasn\'t sure if his beloved seniors would hear him, he still shouted his heartfelt words at the top of his lungs.

"Seniors! We\'ve only been together for a short amount of time but I\'ve learned a lot from all of you! I\'m sure we will see each other again in the future so until then…until then…Please take care of yourselves!"

He then looked at them one last time and smiled while crying tears of joy upon realizing that they were waving their hands at him.

Although they didn\'t look back, they heard his words loud and clear.
