Chaos Evolution: Only I Was Granted 3 Wishes

Chapter 197: Palkus’ Journey! 14

"Huh? Am I tripping or did Adena just call someone by his actual name?" Tuskas, who was silent for the most part, said.

"Let\'s get going already; we don\'t have time to waste on useless stuff." Adena turned her head, not bothering to answer Tuskas\' notice.

"Ahaha. Yeah, guys, let\'s go." Allan, seeing how Adena reacted, didn\'t want to pursue the matter and just led the way once more.

The part of the forest where the nightwatcher was spotted was a wide clearing. After the group crossed it, they came across a route that led to a small mountainous area.

Although the forest path was portrayed as small, it was in no way as small as one would think. Similar to all continents, the dwarfelven continent was also huge, and every part of it, no matter how small it seemed on the map, was larger than any country back on Draco\'s homeworld.

Close to the mountains, a small cave entrance emitting an eerie aura was discovered by the group while following Azeroth and Palkus\' directions.

The group got serious and all forms of communication were kept to a minimum. They entered the cave, and after walking for a good 15 minutes, they came across two pathways, one leading to the right and the other to the left.

"Where should we go?" Allan turned to face the duo, who could locate the nightwatcher and asked.

"They\'re the same." Azeroth replied.

"Be careful; monsters seem to have liked this cave. Whether we take the shorter left path, or the longer right path, we will come across monsters, and the weakest of them is B-ranked." Palkus informed the party, adding more details.

"I\'ll lead the way." Adena, hearing Palkus\' words, took the lead and went towards the left path.

"Let us pass, please." Coming from behind were Tuskas and his sister, Tuskina. They were the damage dealers of the group.

Palkus, Azeroth, Allan, Lorea, and Laff stood aside, leaving the three in front.

The group continued walking forward, not stopping. Though they had difficulty navigating at first, the darkness was quickly cleared up by Lorea\'s {Guiding Light} spell.

"There\'s a monster." Adena raised her hand to stop the group. In front of her was a wolf like creature.

"It\'s a lone seeker." Adena added. Lone seeker\'s were canine monsters that moved alone. The weakest of them was B-rank, and this one was too. Their fur was grey, and their appearance was quite identical to that of wolves. They had white eyes and all of them had a tendency to go berserk the second they met their prey.

"Grrr, ROOOAR!" The lone seeker smelled the arrival of the group and slowly walked towards them before it roared and launched itself at the first enemy, Adena.

"Shut.Up!" Throwing her hammer to the side, Adena slid her left leg on the ground and with a heavy punch, smashed the lone seeker to the wall, his blood and brain splattered all around.

"Hey! We told you to not kill enemies like this so many times; now you got us dirty again, Hmph." Tuskina, who was behind Adena, complained as she and her brother got dirty from the blood that was sent all around.

"I can\'t help it." A smile appeared on Adena\'s face as she said.

"There you go, smiling again; battle maniac." Tuskas shook his head.

"Witch, cleanse." Adena called onto her comrade almost in a commanding voice.

"Hey, it\'s been months; call me by my name already." Lorea complained as she summoned her staff once again.

{Cleanse}

"Stop wasting time." Was the only reply and form of gratitude Lorea received from Adena.

"That\'s impolite, Adena." Allan interfered.

"Tsk, thank you." Adena, who had just turned to move forward, stopped, faced Lorea, bowed, and thanked.

"That\'s better." Allan nodded, while Lorea stored her staff back.

"No worries." She replied.

And the group continued on their way forward. After coming across three monsters—two B-rank and one A-rank—that Adena completely destroyed through the same method, The group entered a wider room.

"There are 15 monsters here, the strongest is S-rank." Lorea notified once again.

"I will take the S-rank." Adena spun her large hammer around and smashed it on the ground, gaining the attention of the beasts.

Out of the 15 beasts in this cave area, there were 6 B-rank, 8 A-rank and an S-rank.

2 lone seekers, 4 Ogres, 3 kobolds, and 5 monsters known as the dark lizards. Their names described their appearance. They were simply large, dark lizards with crimson spots on their bodies; their strongest aspect was their poisonous breath, which could kill even an S-rank if not treated on time.

The S-rank, however, was a minotaur.

"We\'ll take the lizards." The Tusk siblings also ran forward, announcing their prey and leaving the remaining monsters for the others.

"I will take the B-ranks." Allan announced.

"Azeroth." Palkus didn\'t bother wasting his breath when he knew that Azeroth had just the right skill to sniff the life out of these lowly beasts in a second.

"Oh? I guess you really do know a lot. I shouldn\'t be surprised." Azeroth shook his head.

{Soul Capture}

A single spell, and the poor kobolds, who had yet to show their might, fell to the ground, dead.

Azeroth could have taken the lives of every beast in here, but out of consideration for the party\'s members, he didn\'t.

"Raaaaaaah!"

*BOOOM*

On the far front, Adena swung her hammer with her full might, striking the minotaur and launch the poor beast all the way to the wall before she appeared next to him.

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOOM*

"Ahaha, Ahahahahahaha!" Strike after strike, Adena didn\'t stop until the minotaur was long dead.

"Haah~ Fighting is so fun." Adena cleared her sweat with a smile of bliss on her face.
